Texas Flight is a 100+ student organization that aspires to achieve excellence while cultivating a community of mentorship, comradery, and growth. In Texas Flight, we compete in AIAA’s Design, Build, Fly (DBF) competition against 100+ nation-wide and international colleges. In this competition, students are tasked with independently designing, manufacturing, and prototyping a competitive RC plane to fulfill various ground and air missions.

Texas Flight aims to offer students the opportunity to begin building their engineering experience by directly working with team leads in creating the competition plane. Furthermore, we actively strive to create a community that allows our members to become comfortable in the engineering workspace alongside their peers.
